Does Your Resume Reflect Your Strengths?
In an age of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr and LinkedIn, there is a lingering question about whether the traditional resume is even necessary, especially for digital natives.
Now comes a new survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers that has as its attention grabbing headline What Employers Want to See on a Resume.
The top four are leadership, program solving, written communications and ability to work as a team. And yes, campus activities, athletics and internships all count, although a previous NACE study gave the edge to students who had PAID internships.
Still, getting called for an interview is only step in landing a job.
